Jane V. Guidera,

92, died at 7AM on December 7, 2017 at Springview Manor in Lima, Ohio.

Jane was born on December 19, 1924, to Nicholas V. and Marie L. Guidera, who preceded her in death.

Jane graduated from St. Gerard’s High School and Northwestern Business School of Commerce. She worked at City Loan and Savings Company, Lima, retiring after 47 years. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and was a promoter for Divine Mercy. She was a former member of the Federation of Woman’s Club and the Lima Arts Council. She served as a board member of the Lima Friends of Music and the Lima Symphony Orchestra. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and served as president of Delta Alpha Chapter and was president of their council. Jane was a member of Amil Tellers of Dramatics, serving as its Treasurer and Business Manager and was a charter member of Encore Theater, serving 30 years in the box office. She was an avid reader and loved history and music. She also loved math and word puzzles, Jeopardy, and she enjoyed lunches with her sisters and friends.

Jane is survived by; one sister, Angelene Guidera of Lima; six nephews; five nieces and six grand-nieces; three great-nieces and four great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by; a brother, George and five sisters, Maria, Frances, Antoinette, Mary Rose and Rose J.

At Jane’s request there will be no visitation held.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lima, Ohio. Interment will be in Gethsemani Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.
