93, of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 12:30 A.M. at the Lima Convalescent Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born July 16, 1919 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ward and the late Susie (Glover) Ward.
Jane married John M. Kimmel on November 29, 1944. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1993. She was a member of Shawnee United Methodist Church. She and her husband operated a grocery store for 25 years. She enjoyed working in her flower garden.
Surviving are: two sons, J. William (Susan) Kimmel of Lima, OH and Michael Lee (Cheryl) Kimmel of Conneaut, OH; six grandchildren, Benjamin (Kate) Kimmel, Christopher Kimmel, Alexander Kimmel, Corey (Jon) Gillen, Jill (Paul) Briggs and Jeffery (Amy) Kimmel; five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell C. Ward and Donald Ward.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.to 8:00 P.M. at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Bucher and Rev. Gregory Fedor officiating.
Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Lima, OH.
