Janice A. Crosina,

81, died at 12:40 PM on Friday, December 23, 2016, at University of Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Janice was born on Sunday, August 25, 1935, in Lima, to Lewis Carl and Mabel [Taylor] Miller. On Thursday, July 3, 1958, she married John R. Crosina, who survives in Gomer.

Janice was a music and choir teacher at Elida High School and Elida Middle School. She loved to play the piano. A longtime choir director at Immanuel United Methodist, Westside United Methodist and Allentown United Methodist, her passion was music, and she shared it with thousands of people and students through the years.

She is survived by: daughters, Teresa (Brad) Spencer, Wapakoneta, Carolyn (David) Palmer, Piqua, and Melissa (Vic) Jones, Delphos; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a grandchild, Buona Natalia Spencer.

There will be no visitation.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Amanda Leigh Jones Pohlman will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Allentown United Methodist Church.
