Jean M. Dyer,
89, passed away at 2:35 PM on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo.
She was born September 7, 1927, in Union City, New Jersey, to the late William and Lydia Dorey. On April 8, 1957 she married Louis M. Dyer, who preceded her in death on July 21, 1974.
Mrs. Dyer retired from Ford Motor Company Engine Plant in Lima. She was a member of Ford Salaried Retirees Club and Westside United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Robbin (Edward) Barnhart of Elida and Wendy (Jeff) Donley of Elida; granddaughter Jessica Donley and grandson Zachary Donley.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Dorey and twin William Dorey.
Services will begin at 11 AM, Monday, September 19, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Rev. Bill Cronk will officiate. Burial will be in Pike Run Cemetery, Gomer, Ohio.
Friends may call from 1 to 6 PM, Sunday, September 18, 2016 and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
