Jean F. Hoehn,
83 of Lima, Ohio died on Sunday, April 8, 2012, at 7:30 a.m. at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born Tuesday, September 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John Kesner and the late Frances Leonard Kesner.
Jean married Lavern Rudolph "Bud" Hoehn on January 18, 1950 at St. John's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2006. She retired from Ray Super Markets and prior to that had worked at Pangles Master Markets and Clyde Evans Markets. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She volunteered at the Service Mans Canteen. She loved to bowl and was in numerous championships. A master baker, she enjoyed baking for holidays and birthdays. She thoroughly enjoyed being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are: sons, David W. (Linda) Hoehn of Lima, OH, Timothy (Kathy) Hoehn of Lima, OH and Daniel (Denise) Hoehn of Lima, OH; seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Travis) Williams, Angie (Josh) Hayes, Ryan (Wanda) Hoehn, Justin Hoehn, Brooke (Joe) Hutchins, Gwyn Hoehn, Matthew Hoehn, and eleven great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Marilyn Kesner-DePalma of Lima.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Kesner.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, followed with a Parish Wake at 8:00 P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at St. Charles Catholic Church with the Father Stephen Blum officiating.
Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH.
