Jean Johnston

Jean Delores Johnston, 79, died at 11:20 a.m. July 18, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born July 20, 1928, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, to John and Josephine Zorzi Laskosky, who preceded her in death. She married Harold Hugh Johnston on March 20, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio. He died October 15, 2007. Mrs. Johnston retired from Peter's Stamping in Perrysburg, Ohio. After working there, she was employed as a licensed practical nurse in Toledo, Ohio. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, John (Amber) Johnston, of Summerville, S.Carolina; a daughter, Janet (Roy) Patton, of Lima, Ohio; four grandsons, Zachary Johnston, Ron (Jamie) Kutter, of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Eric (Erica) Kutter, of Peoria, Arizona, and Daniel (Carrie) Kutter, of Litchfield Park, Ariziona; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Alex Kloshen; and a brother, John Ondrik Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Entombment will be in the Gethsemani Mausoleum, Lima. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
