Jean Sherman

Services for Jean R. Sherman, 75, of Alger, Ohio, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Price Funeral Home in Kenton, Ohio. Pastor Randy Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger, Ohio. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home. Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home of Lima, Ohio is in charge of the arrangements. She died at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born June 1, 1934, in Lakeview, Ohio, to Henry and Ruth (McClurg) Howell and they are deceased. On June 7, 1960, in Decatur, Indiana, she married Dean K. Sherman who survives in Alger, Ohio. Also surviving are three sons, Henry Yost of Kenton, Ohio, Roger (Debby) Sherman of Columbus, Ohio and Daniel (Liz) Sherman of Marysville, Ohio; three daughters, Sharon Sherman-Williams of Colum-bus, Ohio, Ellen (Don) Anderson of Zanesfield, Ohio and Anna Sherman-Risner of West Mansfield, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grand-children; 10 brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to church, gardening and spending time with family.
