89 died at 2:50 AM on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Vancrest Nursing Home, Ada, Ohio.

Jean was born on April 9, 1927, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Harold Neu and Erma (Searfoss) Neu. On November 22, 1948, she married Donald R. Williams, he survives in Lima.

Jean was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. She loved gardening, collecting dolls, and cooking. She loved her dog Abby and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce S. (Thomas) Dodge, of Ada, OH, and Karen (David) Brown, of Lima, OH; 7 grandchildren, Scott (Teia) Dodge, Natalie (Chad) Leonard, Michael Dodge, Greg (Tiffany) Harris, Nicholas (Jessica) Harris, Jonathan (Kristen) Harris, and Samantha Brown; 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, David A. Williams, and a sister, Doris Gilmore.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 16, 2017 and Friday, March 17, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 A.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Pastor Michael Hughes will officiate.

Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
