Jeanette M. Benjamin,
94 of Lima, Ohio died on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at 3:45 A.M. at Springview Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born Tuesday, April 23, 1918 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles Woodall and the late Rosezella (Brown) Woodall.
Jeanette married George A. Benjamin on April 25, 1936. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2000. She was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Northside Mennonite Church, where she was active in the women's sewing circle and other missions. She currently was affiliated with the Lima Baptist Temple. She loved her children and grandchildren, and spending time with them. She enjoyed puzzles of all kinds, loved playing cards, was an avid reader, and enjoyed music. She had a strong faith and loved the Lord and looked forward to the day she would go to heaven.
Surviving are: a son, Terry (Aitzu) Benjamin of Felton, Delaware; two daughters, Rosezella Watkins of Lima, OH and Karen Hook of Lima, OH; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren with two on the way.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Jeannette Benjamin and Sharon Lee Benjamin; four brothers, John, Raymond, Earl, and Marvin Woodall.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
