91, of Lima, Ohio died on Monday, July 30, 2012, 7:18 A.M. surrounded by her family at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born Tuesday, July 12, 1921 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Alban Makley and the late Cecile (Spencer) Makley.
Jeanne married Leo J. Winter on February 18, 1947. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2003. She was a member of St Charles Catholic Church.
Jeanne was a loving, supportive mother to her own children and also raised her siblings after her mother died young. She always had a listening ear and open heart for family and friends. She was a woman of great faith who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are: three sons, Daniel Lee (Pyong) Winter of Omaha, NE, Thomas Richard (Kathie) Winter of Delphos, OH, and Kevin Francis Winter of Lima, OH; two daughters, Cathy (Larry) Agler of Charlotte, NC, and Carole Rose (David) Glick of Lima, OH; five grandchildren, Sara Winter, Kaitlyn Glick, Monica Glick, Ryan Agler, and Travis Agler; one step grandchild, Gina Taylor; two step great grandchildren, Austin Lee and Jacob Aurand; two brothers, Robert Makley of Lima, OH and David (Lynda) Makley of Lima, OH.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Clair Makley, James Joseph "Bud" Makley, and a sister, Sister Carolyn Makley
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary Service. at 8:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday August 2, 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father Stephen Blum officiating.
Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH.
