Jeannette Fisher

Jeannette M. ?Jean? Fisher, 85, died at 1:55 p.m. June 23, 2010, at Springview Manor Nursing Home. She was born August 21, 1924, in Lima, Ohio to Joseph and Lucille Martz Wiechart, who preceded her in death. On February 15, 1947, she married Roger Fisher, who died November 5, 1991. Mrs. Fisher retired from St. Rita?s Medical Center, where she became a volunteer following her retirement. She was a member of the Senior Citizens and the YWCA. She loved spending time with family, friends and her dogs. Survivors include seven children, Roger (Deanna) Fisher, of Hudson, Marie (Ralph) Goetz, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Charlie (Linda) Fisher, of Atlanta, Cheryl Gannon, of Lima, Ohio, Joe (Claudia) Fisher, of Viera, Florida, and Phyllis (Mike) Reichelderfer and Christine ?Chris? (Dick) Jones, both of Lima, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Pat (Arnold) Musto and Helen Grothouse and 1 brother, Richard (Ann) Wiechart and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Wiechart. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melody Gannon; and a brother, Tom Wiechart. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Catholic Church, Lima. Father David M. Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Church or St. Rita?s Hospice, 959 W.
