Jeannine Sue Belton, 74, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s.
Jeannine was born on January 9, 1950, to Bill and Marylou E. (Stombaugh) Hunt. On November 23, 2012, she married Jay Belton, who survives in Elida.
Jeannine loved photography, baking and decorating. She was a Golden State Warriors fan and an avid OSU fan. Jeannine also attended many live shows of So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol.
She is survived by her children, Craig Hunt of Lima, two sons and a daughter of Elida, and a stepdaughter, Lindsay Wells; several grandchildren; brother, Jack Hunt; brother-in-law, Dave (Kathy) Belton; sister-in-laws, Beth Belton and Carol Belton; stepmother, Chris Hunt; and her beloved dogs, Angel and the late Eliana.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law “Red” Belton and mother-in-law Marge Belton, and a brother-in-law Scott.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Lay Pastor Dave Belton will officiate.
