66, of Lima, Ohio died on Friday, February 8, 2013, at 4:43 P.M.at his residence in Lima, Ohio.
Born September 15, 1946 in Crossville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Amon and Laura Atkins.
He retired as an Electrician from Allen County. He was a member of the; N.R.A; Cairo Gun Club; Sabers Gun Club; and the Elks Lodge, B.P.O.E. # 54
Surviving are son, Jerry Atkins Jr. of Dayton, OH, daughters, Julie Sparks of Dayton, OH and Jody Atkins of Dayton, OH; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild; extended family; Belinda Hellard, Heather, Matt and Alexis Hellard all of Dayton; Heather Albertson of Lima, Ohio
He was preceded in death by sister, Amie.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home,
A Celebration of Life will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
