Jerry Earl Knickerbocker, 80, passed away at 3:08 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s. 

Jerry was born on December 19, 1943, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, to Meryl and Edith (Grey) Knickerbocker. On January 18, 2023, he married Alice (Pearson) Knickerbocker, who survives in Lima.

Jerry loved his guns and he enjoyed hunting when he was younger. After he retired as a butcher, he enjoyed going trap shooting, winning several trophies, and also camping. Jerry loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Bryan (Michele) Knickerbocker and Scott Knickerbocker; grandchildren: Ian, Benjamin, Bethany, Raina, Mason, Mariah and Garrett; many great-grandchildren; special niece, Susie DeWaters; and many additional nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Theresa Jane, twin brother, Larry; and sisters Shirley and Phyllis.

It was Jerry’s wishes that there be no visitation or services. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Williams County Guns Club.
