Jill A. Cox,

79, of Lima, Ohio died on April 26 2018 surrounded by her family. She died at Lima Memorial Hospital, where she was born on July 24, 1939 to the late Kirby and Dorothy {Sedgewick} Greenup. She was a graduate of Lima Senior High School in 1957. While living in Lima she was involved in many organizations and groups such as Swedish weaving, Life Long Learning, Allen County Library Friends of the Library, Chatterbooks, Spartan Heirs, Lost Creek Women’s Golf League, Altrusa, YWCA, and St. John Catholic Church.

On May 12, 1962 she married Ronald Cox, who survives in Lima. She is also survived by her daughter Holly (Joel Kahl) Cox of Fort Lauderdale, FL, son Greg (Angi Weber) Cox of Columbus, OH, and grandchildren Ryan Cox and Natalie Cox of Columbus.

Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 2-4 PM at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, OH, where a memorial service will follow at 4 PM.
