Jim Forrest Bailey,
73, died at 1:40 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

Jim was born on Monday, June 09, 1941, in Hippo, Kentucky, to the late Amos Bailey and Nana (Shepherd) Bailey.

Jim graduated from Mt. Victory High School. He retired from Lima State Hospital and had also worked at BLH-Clark Equipment. He was a nature lover, enjoyed boating, fishing and traveling to Ohio State Parks. He also coached and played softball. He fought Diabetes for over 50 years.

He is survived by: a daughter, Denise (Mike) Holler; two sons James Deron (Karen) Bailey and Dave (Angie) Bailey all of Lima, OH; six grandchildren; Tricia Holler, Dakotah Bailey, Zachary Bailey, Jared Bailey , Madison Bailey, Cayden Bailey; five step grand children, Shane, Steven, Shelly, Scott, and Shawn; a special friend, Penney Ervin; a sister, Della (David) Blubaugh; and a sister-in-law, Linda Bailey.

He was preceded in death by: a brother, Arnold Bailey; a sister, Wanda Faye Gross; a grand Child, Dentin Bailey and former wife, Diana (Wicker) Bailey.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Memorial service will begin at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Timothy White will officiate.
