Born Thursday, June 15, 1933 in Allen County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Shaw and the late Vesta Plummer Shaw. She was the wife of the late Allen Good.
She was employed by Lost Creek Nursing Home and retired from Lima Convalescent Home. Joanne formerly attended the First Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving is a son, Gary Shaffer of Lima, OH, a daughter, Melanie (Steve) Cisco of Lima, OH: five grandchildren, Rob (Crystal) Shaffer, Andrew (Amy) Shaffer, Michael Cisco, Marcus Cisco, Kalee Cisco and seven great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (James) Fedele of Lima, OH and Shirley (Arley) Taylor of Lima, OH; and two brothers-in-law Ray Moneer of Evansville, Indiana, and Joe Baber of Lima, Ohio.
She was predeceased by an infant brother and sister, two brothers, Paul Shaw and Myron Shaw, and Five sisters, Helen White, Ruth (Cody) Spencer, Kathryn (Charles) Downing, Jean Moneer, Donna Baber.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery New Hampshire.
