Joe Wagner,
59, died at 9:36 PM on Thursday, January 09, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Joe was born on July 27, 1954, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Jack Wagner and Carolyn (Cowles) Wagner. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Carolyn and Bob Snider.
Joe married Linda K. Kerr on October 1, 1977. She survives in Lima. He retired from General Dynamics after 32 years. He was a member of the Lima Elks Lodge #54. He loved spending time with family and grandchildren. He enjoyed bowling and golfing.
He is survived by: a son Travis T.J. Wagner, of San Diego, CA; a daughter Amber (James) Vreeland, of Lima, OH; two grandsons, James, and Landyn; a granddaughter, Emry; two brothers, Steve (Debbie) Wagner, and Marty (Earlene) Wagner; several nephews & nieces.
He was preceded in death by his special friend, H.A.L. Wagner.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. An Elks Lodge of Sorrow will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Branim officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio at a later date.
