Pastor Joe M. Wireman 82, died at 1:25 p.m. November 23, 2009, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born September 10, 1927, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, to Kelly and Sophronie Bailey Wireman, who preceded him in death. On September 6, 1947, he married Sadie Ballew, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Pastor Mr. Wireman retired from Boilermakers Local 85 in 1990. He was a member of the Cridersville Independent Baptist Church, where he was pastor in previous years and continued to minister throughout his life. He loved the Lord with all his heart and lived to serve him and loved to serve others. He has been a faithful and active member of the church for 58 years. Survivors include four sons, Roger (Pam) Wireman, Danny (Karen) Wireman, Eddie (Donna) Wireman and Joe Wireman Jr., all of Lima, Ohio; four daughters, Linda (Richard) McKeever, Brenda (Scott) Lake, Terri (Herbert) Trusty and Teresa (Walter) Golden, all of Lima, Ohio; and 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren expected soon. He was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Wireman; a daughter, Alice Wireman; two brothers, Hursel Wireman and Seldon Wireman; and two sisters, Aline Wireman and Flora Rowe. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cridersville Independent Baptist Church, Cridersville. The Rev. Randy Nichols and the Rev. Ed Wireman will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Waynesfield. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Cridersville Independent Baptist Church; 125 E.
