He is survived by: a sister, Sabrina Kluge, Toms River, NJ; a brother, Richard Mitchell; two nieces, Dorothy Mitchell and Sandy Jones and great niece, Laura Jones.
He was preceded in death by a son, John W. Mitchell, Jr.
A Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio.
