Johnthan Henry Fout Jr., 72, died at 9:07 a.m. October 9, 2008, at Kettering Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio. He was born June 23, 1936, in Dunkirk, Ohio to Johnthan Henry and Orthella Rizor Fout, who preceded him in death. Mr. Fout had been a machinist at Rockwell International. He was a member of Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge 157, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 428 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2163, all in Kenton, Ohio. He was an Army veteran serving from August 20, 1959, to August 19, 1965. He enjoyed woodworking, leather working and restoring classic cars. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon (Roger Garvin) Bruce, of Kenton, Ohio; two sons, Garth (Ildi) Fout, of Genera, Ohio, and Wade Fout, of Lima, Ohio; 16 grandchildren, Jasper, Charles, Nathan, Cory, Garrett, Justin, Jessica, Sarah, Shawn, Nicole, Nolan, Amory, Macy, Asher, Maine and Gresham; three great-grandchildren, Paige, Logan and Riley; and his special friend, Julie Jenkins. He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Fout; and a granddaughter, Kara S. Fout. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Howard M. Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
