JONATHAN ?CORY? OWENS, 28, of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Lima, died February 14, 2007, in Mendocino County, California. He was born October 17, 1978, in Lima, Ohio to Johnnie and Geneva Crol Godsey Owens, who survive in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Owens had worked at Kmart, Lima, Ohio and Abercrombie & Finch, Columbus, Ohio. He was a 1997 graduate of Lima Senior High School, where he was an honor student, and attended The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio for four years. He was an artist and musician, and enjoyed electronics, especially computers. Survivors also include a sister, Patrice (Dan) Reinhart, of Lima, Ohio and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Godsey; paternal grandparents, Elliot and Emma Owens; and maternal grandparents, Claude and Phyllis Godsey. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Evangelist Jon Barcus and the Rev. Ernest Stephens will officiate.
