Joseph C. Binkley

Joseph C. Binkley , 82, died at 8:06 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center.

Joseph was born on Sunday, April 16, 1932, in Lima to the late Ray G. Binkley and Mary [Lawson] Binkley. He married Barbara Cady on July 15, 1987 and she survives in Lima.

Joe retired from Ford Motor Company as a supervisor after 34 years. He was a member of Lima Missionary Baptist Church. He also was a member of VFW Post #1275, Eagle Airee 370. He was a graduate of St. Johns Catholic High School, Lima.

He is survived by two sons: Michael Binkley, of Lima and Bill (Debbie) Kilgore of Medina: three daughters; Sandy (David) Ingledue, Cathy (Vince) Warren and Betsy Doyle all of Lima, OH also surviving are eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a Brother-in-law Richard Meyer.

He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Meyer, two brothers: Charles "Ed" Binkley, and Robert Binkley and daughter-in-law Debbie Binkley.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Brock officiating.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Graveside military honors will be conducted by VFW #1275.
