Joseph F. “Bud” Foust Jr.,

69, of Lima, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 7:35 AM at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

He was born on October 11, 1948 in Lima, Ohio to the late Joseph F. Sr. and Pauline {Funni} Foust. On January 27, 1968, he married Peggy Byers who preceded him in death.

Bud is survived by his children: Melissa (Johnny) Thomas, Joseph F. Foust III, Jeremy (Melissa) Foust, and John (Heather) Foust, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 siblings: Sister SL Shirley Foust, MSMS,  James (Bettie) Foust, William Foust, Craig (Sonya) Foust, and Steven (Sherry) Foust.

In addition to his parents and wife Peggy, he was preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth Foust and Thomas Foust.

Bud was a carpenter and a retired member of the Local Carpenters Union 372 for 29 years. Bud was an avid fisherman. Fishing was a love and passion that he passed onto his children and grandchildren. He loved Ohio history and reading, and enjoyed spending time at his home on the river.

His family will receive friends on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 4-8PM at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, OH and on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 4-6PM at the funeral home, with a funeral service following at 6PM. Entombment will be at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH at a later date.
