Joseph was born on November 23, 1961, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Charles E. Spees Jr. and Linda Lou [Callahan] Spees who survives.
Joseph had worked at Accubuilt. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 370, Lima, Brands Lake, Bill Moose Muzzloading Club, and UAW Local 975. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, and was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is survived by: two sons, Charles E. Spees IV, of Cridersville, OH, Joseph D. Spees Jr.; a daughter, Nicole R. (Jason Sneed) Spees; two brothers, Charles E. "Chuck" (Cindy) Spees III, and Kenneth W. (Ashleigh) Spees; significant other, Barbara Courtney; four grandchild, Jason M. Sneed II, Maci J. Spees, Chance C.R. Sneed, and Carson W. Sneed.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with an Eagles Memorial Service at 7:30 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. with Pastor Charles Richtmyer who will be officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio
