Josephine M. "Jo" Ehresman
98, died at 7:25 AM on Friday, November 08, 2013, at Glenn Park of Defiance in Defiance, Ohio. She is now in peace with the rest of her family and her Lord.

Josephine was born on February 17, 1915, in Gibson City, Illinois, to the late John Thompson and Margaret (Lunde) Thompson.

Josephine married William L. "Bill" Ehresman on November 4, 1939 in Illinois. He preceded her in death. "Jo" along with her husband, ran the Delphos Country Club and co-owned Bill & Jo's Restaurant in Elida. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she served for many years as chairman of the Altar Guild Society.

She is survived by: her daughter Marian (Marvin) March, of Defiance, OH; seven grandchildren, Marc (Brenda) March, Sharyn March, Barb (Andy) Ladd, John (Lorrie) March, Tim (Lisa) Ehresman, Matt Ehresman, and Mary (Michael) Marcheschi and nine great grandchildren, all of whom she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by: a son James L. "Jim" Ehresman; daughter-in-law Jacqueline J. "Jackie" Ehresman; two brothers and four sisters.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lima, OH. with Pastor Michael Phillips will officiating.

Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to any Hospice or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
