Joshua Brock Conner

Joshua Brock Conner, 32, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, while hiking in Yosemite National Park.

Joshua was born on April 26, 1986,  in Lima, Ohio to Jeffrey P. Conner & Deborah (Vieira) Nickles, both who survive in Lima.

Joshua was a 2005 Bath High School graduate.  He then went on to receive his BA in nursing at Rhodes State College. After receiving his BA, he worked at OIS as a surgical nurse and then from there, worked at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, CA as a traveling nurse. He enjoyed crossfit, weightlifting, hiking, surf boarding, and loved the outdoors.  He died doing what he enjoyed, hiking in the great outdoor with his favorite canine companion, Leo.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Deborah & Jerry Nickles of Lima, father, Jeffrey P. Conner of Lima, brother Cory (Kelli) Conner of Lima, grandmother, Karen Sanchez,  step-brothers, Brett (Ashley) Nickles & Lance Nickles, step-sisters, Hannah VanAtta and Annie VanAtta, , uncle, Wayne (Tammy) Vieira, uncle Tim (Shari) Conner, several nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.   A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at St. Johns Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio.

Entombment will follow at Gethsemani Mausoleum, Lima.
