74, died at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 08, 2014, at her residence in Elida, Ohio.

Joyce Fay was born on February 12, 1940, in Lima, Ohio, to Hillery Mason and Mollie Rachel (Partin) Mason. On Saturday, March 29, 1958, in Lima, she married Richard T. Johnson. He survives in Elida.

She was an Honorary Member of the United States Marine Corp. League P.F.C. Leonard F. Mason, Detachment 1063, Lima, Ohio. She was also an Honorary Member of the 149th Mountain Warriors, National Guard- Middlesboro, KY.

She is survived by a daughter, Rachelle (Steve) Lane of Elida, OH; three sons, William Johnson (Jennifer Moulton-Fiancé) of Stowe, PA, Robert (Liliya) Johnson of Lima, OH, and Brian (Deanna) Johnson of Severna Park, MD; ten grandchildren, Michael Erb, Kayla Lane, Angelica Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Arthur Johnson, Aidan Johnson, Maddie Johnson; ten great grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Kathy) Mason; one sister, Lauretta Evans, a sister-in-law, Shirley Johnson, and a brother-in-law, Urbanus "Banny" Crites.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild Zachary Johnson; seven sisters, Ada Martin, Edna Sampson, Edith Cawood, Ora Lee "Gracie" Crites, Elizabeth Ackerman, June Evans, Helen Mason and like a sister, Helen M. Smith; four brothers Leonard F., Warren Neal, Willard "Bill", and Hillery Jr. Mason.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 11th and Saturday, July 12th at the Lima Missionary Baptist Church, 3085 Yoder Road, Lima, OH.

A funeral service will begin at 3:00 P.M on Sunday July 13, 2014 with an hour of visitation from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. also at the Lima Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Terry Brock will officiate.

Interment will be reflected upon Joyce's wishes.
