Joyce Ann McCluer, 60, died at 8:14 a.m. Dec. 27, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1947, in Lima to Robert Wehner and Nellie Gossard. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Lima. On Sept. 3, 1965, she married David McCluer, who survives in Lima. Mrs. McCluer was a deputy clerk for the Allen County Probate Court. She had also been a bookkeeper at Lima Technical College and the Allen County Engineers Office. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. She loved reading, vacationing and crocheting. She dearly loved her grandchildren and her animals. Survivors also include two daughters, Kelli (Dave) Singhaus, of Lima, and Emili (Christopher) King, of Dayton; a son, Matthew (Amy) McCluer, of Lima; a brother, Robert (Joyce) Wehner, of Columbus; eight grandchildren, Kaitlin, Allie, Alexa, Lindsay, Lauren, Abbigail, Collin and Carson; and seven in-laws, Jim McBeth, Sharon (Joe) Weldy, Jackie Lyons, Jim (Cynthia) McCluer, Connie McCluer, Debbie (Walter) Urban and Beverly (Mike) Wilges. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
