Joyce Carole (Farley) Pinney

Joyce Carol Pinney, 67, of Lima, passed away on Tuesday, December 25th at 9:10 p.m. at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH.  She was born August 28, 1951, in Holden, WV to the late Freelan and Virgie (Workman) Farley.  She married Curtis Pinney on May 25, 1990.  He survives her in Lima, OH.

She is also survived by her children, Alan (Sarah) Dawes of Lima, Dustin Pinney of Lima, four grandchildren:  Victoria, Wesley, Xavier, and Zoe Dawes of Lima, brothers and sisters: Maxwell (Evelean) Farley of Logan, OH, Barbara Merrill of Branchland, WV, Linda (Roger) Carpenter of Buckhannon, WV, Herb (Vicki) Farley of Greensprings, OH, two brothers-in-laws: Charles (Barbara) Pinney of Lima, OH, and Philip Pinney of Lima, OH, and several nephews and nieces.

Joyce was preceded in death by a brother, Marshal Farley, and two grandchildren: Wyatt and Alex Dawes.

Joyce enjoyed spending time at the casino with friends, watching golf and the West Virginia Monutaineers play football and basketball.  She was talented at crocheting and knitting.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima.  Burial will be at a later time at Dad Farley Cemetery in Branchland, WV.
