Judy R. Emehiser

Judy Emehiser, 58, passed away at 2:35 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Judy was born on May 23, 1962, in Lima, Ohio, to Dallas Dale and Jacqueline J. (Jones) Fox.  On May 10, 1989 she married Michael “Pete” Emehiser who survives in Lima.

Judy was the head cook at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #370 for the past 26 years.  She was a loving mother to Christopher and an awesome wife to her husband, Pete.  She loved decorating for holidays and working in her flower garden.  She enjoyed playing games with her cat, Mister Wiskers; especially fetch.  She was a lover of animals as shown by her many pets through the years.  She was an avid watcher of the ID Channel and never missed her soap, “The Young and The Restless.

Judy is loved and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her; especially her Eagles Club family, brothers and sisters.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her son, Christopher Emehiser of Lima, OH; siblings: Lynn (Ginger) Fox of Wapkoneta, OH, Debbie Rutherford of Tampa, FL and Curtis (Hope) Fox of Tulsa, OK; sister-in-law, Susie (Ronny) Mellott of Emporium, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her forever best friends, Iris Batty Cousey and Wendy Dilts; and her extended family: Sandy, Cathy, Becky, Vicky and Ted Johns.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Helen Emehiser; brother-in-law, Carl J. (Marge) Seaman; and sister-in-law, Sandra Seaman.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.   The funeral service will begin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the funeral home.  Rev. D. Lynn Fox will officiate.  Burial of ashes will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, OH at a later date.
