Born February 26, 1928 in Hardin County to Clarence Poe and Bessie "Dotson" Poe. She married Robert Harbaugh January 26, 1977 who passed away on December 6, 1991. She married Robert Lamb on November 7, 1998 who preceded her death. Marie is survived by one son, Terry L. (Linda) Stebleton and one step daughter in-law, Sonya Harbaugh,Lima Ohio. One daughter, Peggy A. Ryba, Michigan City, Indiana. Granddaughters Melissa (Dennis) Reiser, Michigan City, Indiana, Temia (Matt) Hall of Buchanan, Tennessee, Julie (Derek) Mayer, Elida, Ohio, Jennifer Stebleton, Lima, Ohio. Grandsons Jerry Lee Harbaugh (Jay), Lima, Ohio, Terry Stebleton (T.J.), Lima, Ohio. Great Grandchildren Brittany (Jordan) Torres, Mariah Mayfield, Kylee Mayfield all of Michigan City, Indiana, Dennis Reiser Jr., Aiea, Hawaii. Logan and Benjamin (Bengi) Hall of Buchanan, Tennessee. Abigail (Abby) Mayer of Elida, Ohio. Two Great Great Grandchildren Leila & Noah Torres, Michigan City, Indiana.
Marie attended Lima Baptist Temple. She graduated from Lima Senior High School. She operated a day care in her home for 15 years. She also worked at Elder Beerman for 4 years, retiring from there in 1994. She was a life member of the VFW. She enjoyed reading Gods word, bowling, golfing, traveling, and playing cards and board games with family and friends.
Preceding her in death are two sisters, Ora Lee Pugh and Retha M. Irwin, two brothers, Herbert S. Poe and Hershel E. Poe, One stepson Jerry Harbaugh.
Visitation will be at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home from 5-8PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 and one hour prior to the service.
A funeral service will be on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 12PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Shawnee Cemetery.
