44 of Lima, Ohio died at 4:16 A.M. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born Wednesday, April 26, 1967 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ronald G. Bice and Carol (Roush) Bice, who survives in Lima, Ohio.
Karen was a 1985 graduate of Lima Senior High School. She had been a Day Care Teacher at the Learning Tree for several years. She graduated from the Ohio State Beauty Academy and was working as a Nail Technician at the Finishing Touch Salon. There are not enough words to describe this beautiful person we are all celebrating, Karen Sue Bice,. Karen came into this world a sweet, innocent beautiful baby. She had the most serene face and big beautiful eyes that could see to your soul. She trusted the whole world. Karen made those she met feel special with her beautiful smile and sense of humor. She could take all your pain away. Karen carried her own pain in a very special way always listening and nurturing others. Karen would not want any of her family and friends to be sad or feel pain. So share with Karen her happiness of being with her father, Ronald Gene Bice and her beloved Grandma Pape, whose arms she is in God is blessing them all. Life is so tender, so fragile so very precious.
Surviving are brother, Douglas (Carrie) Bice of Lima, OH, sister, Bethany Ann (James Garrett) Bice of Belle Center, OH., Two aunts, Barbara (Larry) Curtis of Lima, Ohio and Janet Taylor of Spruce Pine, N.C. Three uncles, Jack (Mary) Bice, Michael (Martha) Bice, and Les (Denise) Bice. Number One nephew Ronald Tyler Bice. Beloved Cousins, Molly Curtis of Lima, Ohio, Maggie Curtis of Columbus, Ohio, and Christopher Taylor of Charlotte, N.C., and numerous other cousins. Loyal friends, Lori Brown of Columbus Grove, Ohio, and Kris Binkely of Lima, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her loving father, Ronald Bice, Maternal grandparents, Eldon & Martha Pape Roush, and paternal grandfather, Donald Bice.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Wanda Werking officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 26, 2011, and 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
