Karen Ridenour

KAREN M. RIDENOUR, 65, died at 1:55 p.m. July 20, 2006, at her residence. She was born July 28, 1940, in Allen County to Richard and Virginia Lora Staley, who preceded her in death. On July 16, 1957, in Lima, she married Kenneth M. Ridenour, who died Feb. 13, 1998. Mrs. Ridenour retired as manager of The Court Restaurant and had been a bus driver for Elida schools and worked at Sheller Globe. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 and the Wednesday Morning Friendship Club. She loved her family and many friends, collecting, flower gardening and had a talent for care giving. Survivors include a daughter, Tonya Ridenour of Lima; a sister, Kaye Elwood of Bluffton; and a brother, Kent Staley of Lima. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard D. Ridenour. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Maggee Kramer will officiate. Private burial of the cremains will be in Wesley Chapel.
