Karmen Kennedy

Karmen J. Kennedy, 44, died at 7:30 a.m. July 6, 2008, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born June 16, 1964, in Lima to James Dee and Mary Jane Vastano Kennedy. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives. Ms. Kennedy was a photographer at Life Touch Studios for several years and had worked in the emergency room at Lima Memorial Health System for several years. She was a loving mother. Survivors also include a son, James Stahl, of Lima; two sisters, Katherine (Rick) Rahrig and Kristine (Mike) Wienken, both of Lima; two nieces, Angela Irwin and Aubrea Krites, both of Lima; and a great-niece, Isabella Krites, of Lima. Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Iota Sigma chapter or Phi Beta Psi Sorority.
