Katherine Clark

Katherine Louise Clark 81, of Delaware, formerly of Lima, died at 5:25 a.m. July 3, 2007, at Cherith Case Center/Willow Brook Christian Community Center, Delaware, Ohio. She was born October 4, 1925, in Lima, Ohio to Russel and Margaret Lewis Crider, who preceded her in death. On March 2, 1947, she married Paul J. Clark, who survives. Mrs. Clark was retired from Wrightway Food Services. She was a 1944 graduate of South High School and attended Bowling Green State University. She was a worker, serving as a receptionist and bookkeeper for Drs. Baker, Barr and Shankland and later for Dr. David A. Barr. She also served as a bookkeeper for the John Siegler Co. She was a proud member of the Duo Decum Club. Her loyalty to Lima Senior High School and The Ohio State University athletics was formidable. She stressed education. She loved fine dining, but her family always came first. Survivors also include four children, Debi (Phil) Turner, of Marietta, Georgia, Sheila Clark, of Toledo, Ohio, Shelley (John) Hubbell, of Hilliard, Ohio, and Scott (Heather) Clark, of New York; eight grandchildren, Cameron Turner, of Woodstock, Ga., Courtney (Ryan) McCormick, of Woodstock, Ga., Clark (Esther) Turner, of Roswell, Ga., Meghan Hubbell, of Lexington, Ky., Jim Hubbell, of Hilliard, Brooke (Patrick) Turnock, of Chicago, Sean Hamel, of New York, and Scott Hamel, of Chicago; and two great-grandchildren, Caleb Turnock, of Chicago and Holden Mc-Cormick, of Woodstock, Ga. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Crider. A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Tim Thurston will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Beaverdam, Ohio. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
