Katherine A. Thomason,
93, died at 5:36 AM on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice Unit in Lima.
Katherine was born on Monday, July 16, 1923, in Toledo, to the late Constantine and Mary (Pappas) Maludy. On Saturday, November 20, 1943, she married James C. Thomason who preceded her in death.
Katherine was a 1941 graduate of Toledo-Scott High School. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Springview Manor and St. Rita's Hospice, for their care.
She is survived by a son, James (Rosemary) Thomason of Lima and a daughter, Marsha (Robert) Aldrich of Virginia; four grandchildren, Matthew, Brian and Philip Thomason and Jackie Westfall; one great granddaughter, Anya Rose Thomason; a sister, JoAnn Ledbetter of Prescot, Arizona and a nephew, Dr. Jeff (Sue) Maludy of Sylvania.
She is preceded in death by a brother, George Maludy.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Father David M. Ross will officiate.
