82, of Lima, Ohio died on November 27, 2012, at 3:00 P.M. at Lima Manor Nursing Home.
Born July 31, 1930 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius Evers and the late Myrtle (Fetters) Evers.
Kathleen married Billie McClain on October 24, 1959. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2003. She retired from ExCello. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. She loved to golf and was a longtime member of Tamarac Golf Club; and a member of the Elks Lodge #54. She loved Bingo.
Surviving are: a daughter, Linda Hughes of Lima, OH; step daughter, Billie King of Jenera, OH; three grandchildren, Dan (Jennifer) Messer of Lima, OH, Evan (Falon) Hughes of Texas, Ian Hughes of Lima, OH; two great grandchildren, Brett Messer of Lima, OH, and Logan Messer of Troy, OH; one great great grandson, Devin Messer-Ridenour of Lima, OH; a brother, Fritz Evers of Lima, OH;
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Wilcox; sister-in-law Geneva Evers, and a step son-in-law Fred King; a brother-in-law Bob Wilcox.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, December 3, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service will be at 6:00 PM on Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. David M. Ross officiating.
Private family interment of ashes will be in Gethsemani, Lima, OH.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Rita's Hospice or American Heart Association.
