Kathleen A. ?Kathy? Robinson, 50, died at 7:47 a.m. April 20, 2008, at her residence. She was born October 4, 1957, in Lima, Ohio to Hubert M. and Thalia Chiles Powell, who preceded her in death. On August 20, 1976, she married Richard L. Robinson Jr., who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Robinson was a registered nurse working as a clinical manager with Cardiovascular Associates at St. Rita?s Medical Center, where she had also worked on the critical care block for a long time. She was a member of the South Side Christian Church, where she served on the Deaconate, was a member of its Christian Women?s Fellowship and Journey Friends, and was a Sunday school teacher. She was a volunteer with the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. She was a 1976 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School and received her nursing degree from Lima Technical College. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was an avid fan of the Buckeyes, Bengals and Reds. She loved tending to her roses and hosting family gatherings. Survivors also include three children, Holly Robinson Moore, of Lima, Ohio, and Richard L. Robinson III and Andrea Robinson, both of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Ron (Cindy) Powell, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, and Gary Powell, of Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Nancy (Randy) Longbottom, of Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Katherine (Jeff) Hunt, of Lima, Ohio; a brother-in-law, David (Michelle) Robinson, of Lima, Ohio; her mother-in-law, Helen G. ?Jenny? Robinson Fleming; and eight nieces and nephews, Brian Powell and Sarah Powell, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jacob Powell and Jessica Powell, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, John Longbottom and Nicholas Longbottom, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jeffrey Hunt and McCartney Robinson, both of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Richard L. Robinson Sr.; and a granddaughter, Samantha Paige Moore. Services will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at South Side Christian Church. The Rev. Douglas Adams and Wanda Werking will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
