Kenneth Allen Hefner,

50, went home to be with the Lord on, Monday, June 08, 2015, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.

Kenneth was born on November 28, 1964, in Lima, Ohio. He was the son of Richard L, Jr. and Kathleen M. (Barrows) Hefner.

He graduated from Elida High School. Kenneth served eight years in the military and was a very proficient marksman. Kenneth was also a fifth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He enjoyed sharing his faith with others.

He leaves: two sons, Donald Brown of Dover, DE and Isaiah Henderson-Hefner of Lima; a grandson, D.J. Brown; a brother, Mark A. (Cristy) Hefner, SeaTac, WA; a niece and nephew; his paternal grandmother, Virginia Hefner; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 20th, 2015 at North Park Community Church, 633 W. Ashton St., Lima, Ohio 45801.

A memorial service will begin at 12:00 Noon immediately following the visitation at North Park Community Church in Lima, Ohio. Family and friends are encouraged to come to the visitation and memorial service in casual attire. Pastors James Baker and Charles Dupree will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lima Rescue Mission, 216 E. Wayne St., Lima, Ohio 45801.
