Kenneth James ?Kenny? Reynolds 59, died at 11:20 p.m. January 26, 2008, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton, Ohio. He was born December 16, 1948, in Lima, Ohio to Raymond and Flora Eileen Hahn Reynolds, who preceded him in death. His stepmother, America ?Merkie? Reynolds, survives in Trotwood. On January 30, 1970, he married Eva Doreen Ward, who survives in Columbus Grove, Ohio. Mr. Reynolds retired from C.H. Heist Co., Lima, Ohio, and had worked at the Flying J and Pilot Travel Center. He was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War, from January 17, 1967, to December 29, 1969. He loved his grandchildren and talking on the citizens band radio, where he went by the name ?The Guzzler.? He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. Survivors also include a daughter, Melissa Renee Reynolds, of Columbus Grove, Ohio; two sons Kenneth James Reynolds II and David Lynn Reynolds, both of Columbus Grove, Ohio; three brothers, Gary (Kim) Gootee, of South Carolina, Rick Gootee, of Delphos, Ohio, and John (Karen) Gootee, of Delaware, Ohio; four grandchildren, Megan Hefner, Julian Hefner, Madison Hefner and Abby Hefner, all of Columbus Grove, Ohio; a sister, Sharon Hurst, of Westminster, Ohio; two aunts, Esther Harshbarger and Nancy Horvath, both to Lima, Ohio; and an uncle, Donald Hahn, of Clyde, Ohio. Services will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Timothy White will officiate.
