Kenneth Sanchez

Kenneth Charles Sanchez, 43, died at 6:29 a.m. Feb. 24, 2009, at Mary Ann Brown/Champaign Residential Services. He was born May 28, 1965, in Lima to Carlos and Donna Louise Shaw Sanchez. His father survives in Colorado Springs, Colo. His mother preceded him in death. Mr. Sanchez attended Marimor Adult Workshop Program. He enjoyed music, his friends and having a good time. Survivors also include three brothers, Michael Sanchez, of Florida, Steve Sanchez, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mark (Janet) Sanchez, of Lima; two sisters, Kelly Gross, of Sidney, and Michelle Sanchez, of Lima; two half sisters, Heather Sanchez and Shannon Sanchez, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four uncles, Jessie Sanchez, Barney Sanchez and Rudy (Judy) Sanchez, all of Lima, and Robert Shaw, of Saginaw, Mich.; and two aunts, Maria (Chuck) Griffin, of Lima, and Barbara Ruck, of Wapakoneta. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Thomas and Mabel Shaw; four uncles, Thomas, Ambrose, Alfred and Richard Shaw; and three aunts, Betty Sterling and Patty and Rita Shaw. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. James McDonald will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
