L. CORBETT

L. Anita Corbett, 81, died at 4:12 a.m. Nov. 28, 2007, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton. She was born Aug. 28, 1926, in Waterbury, Conn., to Timothy Joseph and Julia Elizabeth Howd Dee, who preceded her in death. She was raised by her aunt, Grace Ellen Howd Hubbell, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 4, 1948, she married Fred Hazen Corbett, who survives in Lima. Mrs. Corbett had been a teacher at Lima City Schools for 28 years. She was a member of Central Christian Church. She was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association. Survivors also include four daughters, Marybeth Corbett, of Lima, Patricia Ann (Tim) Corbett-Aaron, of Cumberland, Md., Pamela Suzanne Corbett Stockler, of Lima, and Penny Corbett (Jeff) Crider, of Maiden, N.C.; two sons, Glenn Ward (Deb) Corbett, of Pensacola, Fla., and Timothy Forrest (Barb) Corbett, of Maiden, N.C.; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Maurice and Frank Dee; three half brothers, Charlie, Everett, and Charles William Hubbell; and two half sisters, Inez and Myrtle Hubbell. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Central Christian Church. The Rev. Mark Tisch will officiate. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
