Lacey Bassett

Lacey Bassett, 35, passed away on August 24, 2023, in Toledo, Ohio.

Lacey was born on December 14, 1987, to Timothy Voress and Lori (Holtzberger) Rader. On October 13, 2012, she married Cory Bassett who survives in Lima.

Lacey loved her children, family, and animals. She enjoyed music, racing, crafts, and watching the Walking Dead.

Along with her husband and parents, Timothy (Billi) Voress and Lori (Mark) Rader, she is survived by her children, Izabella, Colton, and Elora; siblings, Jennifer Rader, Nicholas Voress, and Jake (Emily) Voress; and multiple nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Vanessa Voress; a brother Caleb Voress; and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  A funeral service will begin at 11a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Jonathan Burkey will officiate. Burial will follow at Cairo East cemetery, Cairo, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
