Lance T. Prine

Lance T. Prine , 64, died at 4:15 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center , Van Wert.


Lance was born on September 01, 1949, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Donald and Martha (Thomas) Prine. On December 02, 1967, he married Jean (Boyed) Prine who survives in Lima.

He enjoyed fishing and antiques, and loved his grandchildren dearly.

He also served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Ranger during the Vietnam War. He was a 1967 graduate of Lima Senior High School.


He is survived by: sons, Scott (Lisa) Prine, Columbus, OH. and Robert (Ashley) Prine, Wapakoneta, OH; brother, Bryon Prine; one sister Dianna (Ben) Kalb, Broken Arrow, OK; and half brother Craig Thomas. Also surviving are grandchildren, Nathan, Alex, Zayne, many nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Friday, September 5th, 2014. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, September 5th, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
