Larry B. Miller
76, died at 7:25 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Larry was born on February 23, 1941, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Bruce Miller and Maxine (Irwin) Miller. In 1961, he married Nancy (Whittington) Miller, who survives in Lima.
Larry was a member of the Shawnee United Methodist Church. He served as a medic for four years in the United States Air Force during the Cuban Crisis. He worked in the Quality Control Labs at Clark Equipment, Teledyne and retired from Ford Motor Company after 28 Years. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #370 and a Life Member of the Elks BPOE #54. He loved to go to the casinos with his brothers, fishing, playing cards with his grandkids, supervising projects and his truck.
He is survived by his children, Kim (Jim) Miller-Duddy, of Lima, OH, Greg (Kathy Adams) Miller, of Lima, OH, Beth (Jim) Caudill, of Freeland, MI, Chris (Angie) Miller, of Lima, OH; nine grandchildren; two brothers, John (Ellen) Miller, of Gretna, LA, and Dennis (Mary Beth) Miller, of Lima, OH.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Miller.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Shawnee United Methodist Church in Lima, OH. Rev. Bryan Bucher will officiate. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 1275.
