Larry Moser

Larry L. Moser, 66, died at 8:30 a.m. December 4, 2010, at his residence, following a courageous battle with cancer, with his loving wife and family by his side. He was born July 26, 1944, in Bluffton, Ohio to Rawleigh and Velma Hauenstein Moser, who preceded him in death. On January 9, 1981, he married Joanne E. Kuhn, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Moser worked for American Electric Power for 40 years. He enjoyed farming with his father and brother in his younger years. He was a great carpenter, who was always tinkering in his garage making and repairing wooden projects. He enjoyed gardening and making his lawn weed free and plush as a carpet. He adored his wife, who was his No. 1 ?Punkin? for 30 years. His children and grandchildren were especially dear to his heart. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. He was a 1962 graduate of Bluffton High School. Survivors also include two daughters, Lisa I. (Roger) Odom, of Lima, Ohio, and Sheri (Lee) Beck, of Leipsic, Ohio; a son, David Moser, of Bluffton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Gage Odom, Cole Odom, Kaden Odom, Nia Odom, Jacob Beck, Chelsea Moser and Harlie Moser; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lavern Moser; and his mother-in-law, Irene C. Kuhn. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Father David M. Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church, 523 N.
