Laurel Webb

Laurel Wolfe Webb, 86, died at 3 a.m. June 27, 2007, at her residence. She was born November 9, 1920, in Mount Victory, Ohio to Russell and Mary Ellen Roseberry Wolfe, who preceded her in death. On November 22, 1953, she married E. Perry Webb, who died April 18, 1982. Mrs. Webb was a member of Lima Trinity U n i t e d M e t h o d i s t Church. She was a member of the Shawnee Country Club, the Daughters of the American Revolution, Alpha Xi Delta and the Order of Eastern Star. She had been a member of the League of Women Voters, the Friends of the Symphony, and the Women?s Garden Club. She had served on the board of the YWCA. Survivors include a son, Larry R. (Marcia) Webb, of Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Mary Ellen (Don) Marik, of Lima, Ohio; three grandchildren, Meredith Kelch, of Napoleon, Ohio, and Noelle Webb and Perri Webb, both of Lima, Ohio; and two brothers, Robert (Ann) Wolfe, of Mansfield, Ohio, and Bill (Janet) Wolfe, of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fenton Wolfe and Russell Wolfe; and two sisters-in-law, Sally Wolfe and Helen Ruth Wolfe. Private graveside services will be held today in Woodlawn Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at the Allen County Museum.
