Lawrence Larry Minnard

LAWRENCE ?LARRY? MINNARD, 63, died at 3:20 P.M. February 17, 2007, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home. He was born October 6, 1943, in Niagara Falls, Nye York, to Robert M. and Margaret H. Cullian Minnard. His father survives and his mother preceded him in death. On June 17, 1967, he married Kathryn C. Jennie Casto, who died January 17, 2001. Mr. Minnard graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1961. He graduated from Ohio Northern University in 1965. He was in the Army from July 9, 1968 to July 1, 1971, serving in Vietnam from December 12, 1970 to July 1, 1971, as a spec 5. He was a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Allen County Bar Association. He was also a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and Tamarac Golf Club. He played in the Elks Golf League and the Men?s City League. He retired as an attorney in December 2005. Survivors include a daughter Nicole Minnard, of Charlotte, North Carolina; a special friend, Rachael Staup, of Lima, Ohio; and a cousin Robert Raymond, of Las Vegas. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 A.M. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rev. David Ritchie will officiate. Interment will be in Gethsemani Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.
