Leah C. Doyle,

90, died at 1:45 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Springview Manor Nursing Home in Lima.

Leah was born on Wednesday, February 16, 1927, to the late Carl and Elizabeth (Metzger) Bowman. On Friday, May 19, 1944, she married Robert L. Doyle. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2003.

She is survived by: sons, Steven W. (Janet M.) Doyle, Lima, William H. (Karen) Doyle, Minneapolis, MN, Michael A. (Linda J.) Doyle, Holland, OH and James R. (Sue Ellen C.) Doyle, Strongsville, OH; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great- grandchildren; brothers, Howard (Joyce) Bowman, Elida, Eldon (Susie) Bowman, Elida and Wilbur (Bonnie) Bowman, Elida; sisters, Mary Jane Wolf, Quinter, KS and Janice (Lon) Bonstedt, The Villages, FL; sister-in-laws, Evelyn Bowman, Elida, Shirley Bowman, Piqua and Evelyn Bowman, Tipp City; brother-in-laws, Ralph (Beth) Miller, Bluffton and Glen Vermillion, The Villages, FL.

She is preceded in death by: sisters, Helen (Paul) Layman, Lucille Bowman, Vera (Richard) Mowery, Anna Vermillion and Dorothy Miller; brothers, Ronald Bowman, Raymond (Vivian) Bowman, Marvin Bowman and Harold Bowman and brother-in-law, Glen Wolf.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 2 PM on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Evangelist Dan McCraw and will officiate. Interment will be in Ash Grove Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
